Feminine Fruit Series
The Feminine Fruit Series explores the dualities of desire and consumption, intimacy and objectification. Drawing inspiration from the playful and provocative concepts of "eat me out" and "take me out," the series juxtaposes the sensuality of ripe fruit with feminine energy, creating a dialogue about the ways we experience and consume beauty.
Through vivid colors and textured layers, each piece invites viewers to question societal narratives around femininity, pleasure, and power, celebrating the bold and unapologetic essence of feminine sensuality.
Flow Series
As an art educator and often playing the role of an art therapist to young children, I find the child’s voice to be the most underrepresented. I am inspired by the imagination of our youth. My paintings show the purity of a child’s imagination and speak the language through a subconscious terrain of child-like motifs, symbols, and characters. The art has a strong sense of movement with colors exploding across the canvas in a fluid and curvaceous form. My paintings display the inner landscape of beauty and the magic of storytelling in its purest form.
Dream Interpretation
This series emerged from a time of meditation, spirituality, and vivid lucid dreaming. It reflects the visual and emotional depth of a period filled with both disillusionment and the wisdom of clarity. Inspired by the abstract expressionist movement, the work becomes an inner dialogue with the outside world, using the canvas to decode messages from the heart. Through dream interpretations, spiritual symbolism, and the natural flow of brushstrokes, each piece captures raw reactions to emotions and thoughts, exploring life’s innate rhythms and the self-discovery found within.
Ceramics
This series of ceramics was created during six transformative months in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Immersing myself in the art of ceramics, I embraced this medium as a new form of expression. The work captures the vibrant energy and inspiration of a time marked by transition, cultural exchange, and deep reflection.
Abstract Landscapes
This series draws inspiration from natural elements and the influence of Impressionism to break down the natural world into pure color and form. It transforms these observations into vibrant brushstrokes on canvas, exploring the essence of life through color and movement. By focusing on how water flows and light shapes the world around us, the work invites viewers to move beyond everyday perceptions and experience the energy of nature in its simplest form. It’s about feeling the rhythm of life: how time, light, and motion come together in an unbroken, natural flow.
Still Life Series
This series centers on noticing the overlooked beauty in aging, rusting, and decaying objects—things that may seem uncommon or outdated in today’s fast-paced world. It highlights how time transforms these forgotten items, revealing textures, colors, and forms that speak to the quiet poetry of change. By focusing on the natural processes of aging and decay, the work invites viewers to find beauty in the cycle of life, the inevitability of death, and the stories carried within these weathered remnants of the past.
